Starting out at a desk in the book publishing industry, I realized I wanted and needed more from my life. I had too much energy to sit for hours on end each day. Something was missing in my life and that something was working with and helping others. I graduated as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 1995 at the Swedish Institute and never looked back. Having over 20 years of experience  and being an athlete all of my life, I understand injuries and ways to overcome them. 

My style of massage tends to be deep tissue, to get the kinks out. I have been trained in Swedish,  Medical, Sports, Prenatal massage, Shiatsu, trigger point therapy, some Cranio-Sacral massage, and have an understanding of Reflexology. All of these modalities are touched upon in my unique style of massage. Most recently I received my certification in Aromatherapy and am very happy to be able to infuse essential oils into my practice to help others.
